| Registration for the National Homebrew Competition (NHC)—the world’s largest amateur homebrew competition for celebrating the most outstanding beer, mead, and cider—opens Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. MT. The 2023 NHC Rules & Regulations are now available. Please review the style categories, First Round judging site preference selection, entry shipping instructions, and read What’s New from the Director. To allow as many brewers as possible to compete, the registration process will include a predetermined entry limit of 4 beers per brewer. If there is the capacity to accommodate more entries after registration closes on Tuesday, January 31, at 3:00 p.m. MT, registrants will be notified in early February. The National Homebrew Competition awards ceremony will take place on June 24 during Homebrew Con™ (HBC) in San Diego, Calif.
